As anyone knows, Australian history is very short. That's why they don't have their unique culture although they have the "White Australia" principle. But there has been Aborigine in the land. They lost everything for white people, they are still keeping their unique culture and now Australia says that the culture is very representative and Australian. We can recognize the culture, history, nature and so on in Australian Museum. ref. Australian Museum Online

'Sound of the Outback' in Outback Centre (2006/02/11)

In the Australia's Northern Territory & Outback Centre, located near Darling Harobour, we can experience the Aboriginal culture including a performance which was named to 'Sound of the Outback'. It's performed 3 times a day(13:00, 15:00, 17:00). It's free performance but you can make a donation. The name of the instrument in the picture is "Digiridu" which is Aboriginal one. ref. Paddy's Market, Sydney (2006/02/05)

The Paddy’s Market is the biggest traditional market in Sydney. In the market, we can find fashion & accessories, toys & gifts, fresh food, souvenirs and more at a reasonable price. It is located on the ground floor of Market City and is opened every Thursday - Sunday and public holidays. Especially in the Sunday afternoon, they sell food such as vegetables, fruit and fish very cheap because the market closes on Sunday. ref. Sydney's Paddy's Markets

Chinese Parade for the Lunar New Year's Day in Sydney (2006/02/05)

This is the Chinese Parade for the Lunar New Year's Day of 2006 on George Street. It was very Chinese of course. I remember that we, Megumi and I've followed the sound of the Chinese firecracker to see in real a few times but we used to miss it.
